02 Feb An Inspiring Young Lady!

Last weekend this 9 year old young lady came into the shop with her mum telling me that she’d joined a knitting club at school, but she wanted to know how to cable. I was blown away by her enthusiasm as I know a lot of adults put off learning this stitch for a long time. We had a chat where I gave her some ideas. she left after purchasing a new ball of yarn. Imagine my surprise and elation when she came back the next day (in the torrential rain) to show me what she’d done 🙂 Isn’t it amazing!

I can’t wait to see what her next project will be! It definitely put a smile on my face and a glow in my heart 🙂
